Alex Morel Wins Director of the Year Award

Founder and Managing Director of ALX Training, Alex Morel, has been recognised for her leadership at ALX by winning the Jersey Institute of Directors Award for Director of the Year for a Small Organisation.

The judging panel looked at all aspects of Alex’s role as a director, including the realisation of the company’s vision, Alex’s role in shaping the training industry in the Channel Islands, her commitment to high standards of corporate governance, ongoing professional development of all employees and the role the company plays within its community.

“I never expected to win such a prestigious award and could never have done so without the support of the whole team at ALX Training,” said Alex Morel.

“I can’t thank my colleagues enough for their help in building ALX into the successful business it is today. We constantly focus on delivering the highest quality training that enables people to work more effectively and allows businesses operate more efficiently and I believe it was the success that we’ve had in achieving these aims that persuaded the judges to give us the award.”

Having won the award in Jersey, Alex is now automatically nominated for the equivalent national IoD award. Everyone at ALX would like to wish her all the best for the UK competition.
