Course: Cyber Security Basics
The Need
Employees need to be educated on existing and developing cyber security issues, encouraging them to understand IT concerns, identify risks, how to respond to cyber security problems as they occur and their personal responsibilities. They also need to be able to access the learning from any location at any time.
Organisations also need to be able to evidence who has been trained and to what extent they have adopted new behaviours and knowledge.
Our Solution
Our Cyber Security Basics course covers key areas and behaviours your employees require to ensure they understand where and what their cyber threats are, gain an insight into vulnerabilities and learn how to actively protect themselves and the company.
The course covers essential areas such as:
– The importance of cyber security and the effects on an organisation
– Understanding breaches, whether you are at risk and who the enemy is
– The various threats we all face and the steps individuals can take to protect themselves and the organisation
– The Board’s responsibilities
The course contains 3 knowledge checks (pass mark of 80%) ensuring your colleagues have understood the importance of cyber security and are aware of how their behaviour can support the company approach to possible threats. Learners need to pass the knowledge checks in order to progress and ultimately pass the course.

Reporting
All learners will receive a certificate on completion for their records.
It is possible for a nominated user to gain access to track progress of colleagues to monitor compliance, alternatively you can choose to receive reports from us
Price
£50 per person to access the 1-hour course for 3 months.
